BI Analyst

We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our client's dynamic team. The BI Analyst will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights, supporting decision-making processes, and driving business growth. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across departments, designing and developing BI solutions, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Adopt a consultative approach by partnering with stakeholders to assess business challenges, recommend tailored BI strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Collect, process, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis.
• Work closely with business units to understand information needs and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and storage solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and best practices.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with organizational policies.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience in the energy or utilities sector.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.

Location: This is a hybrid position based in San Antonio TX.
