About the Role: True Care Mental Health Clinic LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Mental Health Clinician to join our growing team in Newark, NJ. Responsibilities:
Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions in both English and Spanish (or other designated language)
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate client care and support services
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Connect clients with community resources, referrals, and support networks as needed
Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field
Active NJ licensure or license-eligibility (LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, or equivalent)
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (or other language serving the local community)
Experience providing direct clinical services in a mental health or behavioral health setting
Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based treatment modalities
Culturally competent and sensitive to the needs of diverse, underserved populations
Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
