PRODUCTION WORKER – PLASTIC EXTRUSION

Position: Bi-Lingual Production Worker

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00 per hour + Overtime (OT) Pay (Weekly Pay)

Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts

• 1st Shift: 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Worker will assist with daily production operations in the plastic extrusion department, primarily working with plastic sheets and supporting the manufacturing and assembly of shipping containers for various retail companies. Employees will assist with handling materials, maintaining production flow, and ensuring products meet company quality and production standards.

The ideal candidate should have good hand eye coordination, physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the production and assembly of plastic sheets and shipping containers.
• Support extrusion operations and assist with handling plastic materials.
• Inspect plastic sheets and finished products for quality, defects, and proper dimensions.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and production leads.
• Work efficiently to meet daily and hourly production goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain production flow.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist with additional production duties as assigned by management.

JOB CRITERIA: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bilingual communication skills required (English and Spanish).
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods, including 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to learn extrusion and manufacturing processes.
• Previous manufacturing, production, extrusion, or assembly experience is a plus but may not be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to use hands and maintain good hand eye coordination.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to lift, move, or handle materials as required by the position.
• Ability to follow workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.
