We are seeking a highly skilled BI Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Power BI and the Microsoft BI ecosystem. This role will be responsible for designing scalable BI architectures, building advanced data models, and delivering insightful dashboards that drive strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Power BI, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), data modeling, and performance optimization, along with the ability to lead BI initiatives and collaborate across business and technical teams.
Design and implement end-to-end BI architecture using Power BI and Microsoft BI stack
Ensure alignment with business requirements, scalability, and best practices
Define BI standards, frameworks, and governance models
Develop efficient and scalable dimensional data models
Optimize data structures for reporting and analytics
Implement best practices in DAX and Power Query
Lead development of interactive dashboards and reports
Deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders
Ensure usability, performance, and visual clarity
Integrate Power BI with:
Multiple data sources (SQL, cloud, APIs)
Enterprise systems
Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
Optimize:
Queries
Data models
Report rendering
Implement caching and data refresh strategies
Implement data security and access controls
Ensure compliance with:
Organizational policies
Industry standards
Manage roles, permissions, and governance frameworks
Define and drive BI strategy and roadmap
Align BI initiatives with business goals
Provide architectural guidance and leadership
Mentor junior team members
Provide training to end-users on Power BI tools
Promote BI adoption across the organization
Maintain detailed documentation of:
Architecture designs
Data models
Configurations and processes
5–7+ years of experience in Power BI (Architect-level experience required)
Strong expertise in:
Microsoft BI Suite
Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps
Advanced skills in:
Data Modeling (Dimensional Modeling)
DAX and Power Query
Strong experience with:
SQL
Python
Jupyter Notebooks
Experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proven ability to lead BI projects and collaborate cross-functionally
Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Synapse, Data Factory, etc.)
Exposure to other BI tools and platforms
Power BI Certification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
