About the RoleNorbeck Technologies Inc. delivers specialized IT infrastructure, electronic security systems, and hardware procurement solutions across the public sector. Much of our pipeline research, lead matching, and initial response generation is handled by our automated
BidBoard platform.
Because BidBoard automatically flags high-fit government solicitations and pre-generates tailored capability statements and outreach drafts, this role eliminates routine manual searching and cold-lead generation. You will focus on reviewing automated daily outputs, filling in requirement-specific details, sending formal expressions of interest, and managing direct follow-up with agency contacts to move opportunities forward.
Key Responsibilities- Process Automated Bid Digests: Review daily opportunity feeds and high-fit solicitations flagged by the BidBoard system.
- Finalize Ready-to-Send Outreach: Complete placeholders in BidBoard-generated response emails and capability statements for submission to agency Contracting Officers and Points of Contact (POCs).
- Agency Communication & Follow-Up: Send expressions of interest, verify submission formats, and initiate introductory calls or capability briefings with government buyers.
- Pipeline Coordination: Track closing deadlines and update response statuses within internal tools as opportunities advance.
- Internal Handoff: Coordinate with leadership to transition active agency requests into finalized quotes and formal task order responses.
Qualifications- Experience: Previous experience in inside sales, business development, administrative proposal support, or customer-facing operations. Exposure to government contracting (GovCon) or B2G/B2B tech services is a plus, but not required.
- Execution & Accuracy: Strong attention to detail to review, edit, and send out automated draft responses accurately under strict bid deadlines.
- Communication: Clear, professional email etiquette and phone demeanor when engaging federal contracting personnel.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating software dashboards, automated workflows, and standard office applications.
- Work Arrangement: Able to work on-site at our Clinton, MD office, with potential hybrid flexibility after onboarding and workflow ramp-up.
