Major Responsibilities/Activities:
Responsible for all bike patrol equipment.
Reports all violations of policies & procedures by any personnel of this department and any other casino personnel, to their immediate supervisor.
Responsible for the reporting and handling of all incidents occurring on the property.
Ensures the facilities perimeter is secure including building and storage areas.
Ensures the safety and well-being of the public and employees while on the outer perimeter of the establishment.
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and enjoyable environment.
Communicates information to other supervisory personnel regarding all incidents on the outer perimeter.
Responsible for remaining within the boundaries of the Santa Ana Star Casino property.
Other duties as assigned or required
Minimum Requirements:
Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.
High School Diploma or GED.
The ability to communicate and correspond clearly and effectively.
The ability to conduct such emergency action to safeguard both the facility and/or any person while on perimeter duty.
Able to pass 90 working day probation in this position.
The ability to pass a physical agility test and 1.5 mile run in the required time limits.
The ability to pass a bike patrol training course.
A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the company's choice, through a payroll deduction program.
All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission key gaming license.

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. Employee's duties are performed indoors in a climate controlled non-smoking environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employee will be exposed to inclement weather and a second-hand smoke-filled environment. Chemical use such as cleaning supplies and other solvents may create exposure to those items.
