About the Role:

As a CBRE Bike Program Coordinator, you will support the bike program in Mountain View and assist with the implementation of employee commute and transportation programs.

This position is part of the Transportation team, which promotes alternative commuting options and helps reduce single-occupancy vehicle usage through biking, walking, ridesharing, transit, and other mobility solutions.

This position is onsite five days per week.

What You'll Do:

  • Rebalance campus bikes throughout the day to ensure availability across all buildings.
  • Unlock all campus bikes in the morning and secure them at the end of the day.
  • Recover campus bikes from offsite locations as needed.
  • Assist with bike upkeep, including cleaning, replacing bike number decals, and identifying bikes that require servicing.
  • Support the loaner bike program, including bike sizing, helmet fitting, and rider education.
  • Assist with bike-related events and classes, including Bike to Work Day, demo events, and educational sessions.
  • Support the development and implementation of programs that encourage a biking culture across campus.
  • Support tours, education sessions, and other transportation-related activities.
  • Follow all transportation, workplace, and safety procedures.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of transportation-related experience required.
  • Prior bike shop experience preferred.
  • Experience with bike sizing and basic bike fitting.
  • General understanding of bicycle mechanics and functionality.
  • Ability to identify bicycles in need of maintenance or repair.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with employees, visitors, and large groups.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules based on business needs.
  • Ability to support operational activities when needed.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Bike Program Coordinator position is $58,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Bike Program Coordinator position is $60,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
