LCH is seeking a bilingual Administrative Assistant to provide administrative, human resources, office management, and board support services. This position serves as a key point of contact for staff, visitors, board members, donors, applicants, interns, and community partners while supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Provide front desk, reception, and administrative support.
Manage calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and organizational schedules.
Prepare agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up communications.
Support Board of Directors and committee activities, including meeting coordination and board portal management.
Maintain donor records, process donations, and prepare acknowledgment letters.
Assist with HR functions, including personnel records, onboarding, compliance tracking, and employee communications.
Support recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, phone screenings, and reference checks.
Coordinate internship program activities and relationships with educational institutions.
Assist with employee events, recognition programs, orientations, and special projects.
Maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.
Qualifications
Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Minimum 2-3 years of administrative support experience required.
Experience supporting HR, executive leadership, healthcare, or nonprofit organizations preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
