Bilingual Associate Attorney

In response to the continued growth of our immigration practice, Fong Ilagan is seeking a full-time Bilingual Associate Attorney to join our team. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Immigration Law. This position presents a unique opportunity to join a dynamic practice with a multicultural team. Candidates should be highly organized, dependable, and diligent, with the ability to work effectively with limited supervision and contribute collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

\n

All matters pertaining to Immigration law, including but not limited to:

\n

◾ Develop and implement case strategy

\n

◾ Removal Proceedings

\n

◾ Bond Hearings

\n

◾ Master Calendar & Individual Hearings

\n

◾ Application for Asylum

\n

◾ BIA Appeals

\n

◾ Motions to Reopen/Reconsider

\n

◾ Family based immigration

\n

◾ Employment based immigration & NIV (H-1B, L-1, E-2, TN, O-1)

\n

◾ EB-5

\n

◾ Research immigration law and procedures

\n

\n

Qualifications and requirements:

\n

• \n
• Licensed and in good standing to practice immigration law
• \n
• Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
• \n
• Strong understanding of Immigration law and regulations
• \n
• Minimum 1-2years of Family-based Immigration; Asylum and Removal of Defense; Business Immigration experience is a plus
• \n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and client management skills; bilingual English and Spanish required
• \n
• Strong organization and research skills with attention to detail
• \n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset with a willingness to work with a supportive team
• \n
