Position Overview
An established multi-state plaintiff personal injury practice is seeking a Spanish-English Bilingual Attorney to join its growing team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with personal injury experience who enjoys managing cases, advocating for clients, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a personal injury caseload from intake through resolution.
- Communicate effectively with clients in both English and Spanish.
- Draft, review, and negotiate settlement demand packages.
- Handle settlement negotiations, including lien resolution, subrogation matters, and settlement disbursements.
- Supervise paralegals and other legal support staff.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Attend court appearances as needed.
- Travel periodically for case-related matters when required.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
- Member in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of 1 year of law firm experience handling personal injury cases.
- Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
- Experience supervising legal support staff.
