Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
English/Spanish RequiredPrimary Location: Oakwood, GA

Are you the person who notices what needs to be done before someone has to ask?
NexGen Medical Centers is looking for a
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Certified Medical Assistant who is confident, outgoing, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a busy clinical environment.
We're looking for more than someone who can complete the standard MA responsibilities. We want someone who can
think ahead, solve problems, communicate clearly, keep things moving, and be a dependable resource within the clinic.
The right person doesn't wait around for direction when something needs attention. They notice it, communicate it, and help find a solution.
Why NexGen?
NexGen Medical Centers is a rapidly growing private practice specializing in interventional pain management and musculoskeletal injuries resulting from motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and slip-and-fall accidents.
We're building something special—and we're looking for people who want to grow with us. You'll have the opportunity to expand your clinical skills, take on additional responsibility, and make a meaningful impact on both our patients and the day-to-day success of the clinic.
When you join NexGen, you're joining a team that values
initiative, accountability, communication, teamwork, continuous improvement, and outstanding patient care.
We offer:
- Competitive salary
- Comprehensive benefits package
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Paid holidays
- Career growth and advancement opportunities
- Ongoing training and professional development
- Supportive, team-oriented culture
- Modern, fast-paced clinical environment
Who Thrives at NexGen?
You'll be successful here if you:
- Are fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Are naturally outgoing and comfortable communicating with patients, providers, and teammates.
- Take initiative instead of waiting for someone to tell you the next step.
- Notice problems and immediately start thinking about solutions.
- Think ahead and anticipate what the provider, patient, or clinic may need next.
- Stay aware of what's happening throughout the clinic—not just the task directly in front of you.
- Communicate proactively when schedules change, patients are running late, supplies are low, or something may impact clinic flow.
- Can prioritize independently when several things need attention at once.
- Take ownership of a problem and follow it through to resolution.
- Are comfortable stepping in and helping teammates when you see they need support.
- Stay calm, professional, and solution-focused when the day doesn't go according to plan.
- Accept feedback well and apply it quickly.
- Take pride in leaving the clinic more organized and prepared than you found it.
- Want opportunities to grow and take on more responsibility over time.
Position Summary
The Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant plays an essential role in both
patient care and the overall flow of the clinic.
In addition to supporting providers throughout patient visits, this position requires someone who can maintain awareness of the daily schedule, anticipate clinical needs, identify potential issues, communicate proactively, and help keep the clinic running efficiently.
You'll prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assist with interventional pain management treatments, maintain accurate documentation, coordinate referrals, monitor clinical supplies, and help ensure providers and patients have what they need throughout the day.
This role also requires clear and professional communication with patients in both English and Spanish, including patient education, instructions, forms, and communication throughout the visit.
The primary work location for this position is our
Oakwood clinic. Based on staffing and operational needs, occasional travel to our
Lawrenceville, Cumming, or Conyers clinics may be required.
This is not a role for someone who needs constant direction or prefers a slow-paced clinic.
Our days move quickly. Schedules change. Patients run late. Providers need support. Unexpected situations happen.
We need someone who can
recognize what needs attention, communicate early, adjust priorities, and help find a solution without losing focus on the patient experience.

- Deliver every patient interaction with professionalism, confidence, compassion, and respect.
Clinical Support & Clinic Flow- Prepare and maintain exam and procedure rooms.

- Assist English- and Spanish-speaking patients with forms and clinical instructions when needed.

- Identify low supplies before they become an urgent issue.
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and company policies.
- Help keep the clinic organized, efficient, and patient-focused.

- Phlebotomy and injection experience.
- Experience working in a high-volume or fast-paced medical practice.
- Previous experience taking ownership of clinic operations, training others, or serving as a go-to resource for teammates is a plus.
