Job Details Job Location: HOUSTON, TX 77054 – Position Type: Full Time – Education Level: 4 Year Degree – Travel Percentage: Negligible – Job Shift: Day – Job Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesAs a Bilingual Client Advocate, you will provide culturally relevant, trauma‑informed, evidence‑based, client‑centered, and healing‑centered services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. You will offer case management to clients participating in the Behavioral Health and Wellbeing program across all HAWC locations, including Survivor Empowerment Hubs in Houston.Schedule Monday‑Friday: Three days per week 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Two days per week 11:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.; Work Model: Hybrid. Computer savvy, strong data‑entry skills, able to learn new applications quicklyCertificates & Licenses: Texas driver's license with a safe driving record; reliable transportation; ability to travel to off‑site locations using personal transportation if requiredResponsibilities Assist clients in receiving services via telephone and in personConduct intake assessments for domestic and sexual violence survivors referred to the Behavioral Health and Wellbeing Program, gathering relevant information and providing crisis interventionEnroll clients in individual or group counseling services with licensed counselors from the programCoordinate referrals to internal and external stakeholders for additional servicesMaintain accurate records and appropriate documentation of servicesParticipate in training, supervision, and meetingsCollaborate with staff to ensure optimal utilization of resources and efficient program managementReport suspected or prior abuse/neglect to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services when appropriateAdvocate on behalf of adults and children at HAWC and other agenciesProvide mobile advocacy to overcome barriers, meeting clients in the community, at work, or other safe places and accompanying them to appointments as neededPerform additional duties and projects as assignedSkills & Assets Excellent attention to detailProfessional objectivity and respect for confidential informationAbility to follow instructions and adhere to policies and proceduresPrioritization skills to meet individual and team deadlinesGrowth mindset and team playerStrong verbal and written communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
