• CertificationsRequirements: Illinois School Counselor PEL
• ExperienceRequirements: 1+ years of relevant experience with strong bilingual (Spanish) proficiency
• OtherRequirements: Must be able to work in person at the school; excellent communication skills; ability to manage a caseload of approximately 190 students; commitment to a maternity leave coverage; soft skills include empathy, adaptability, and teamwork; background check required.

• Provide bilingual counseling services to students in grades 6-8 within a school setting.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 190 students, addressing academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement student support plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of counseling sessions and student progress.
• Adhere to all state and district regulations, including background checks and credential requirements.
