We're hiring a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our growing team!
As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you'll provide exceptional support to individuals and families by helping them access important programs and resources. You'll guide clients through applications, answer questions, and ensure all information is accurately documented in an online system.
Pay & Schedule
$15/hr starting pay
Monday-Friday schedule
What You'll Do
- Conduct client intake interviews by phone and occasionally in person with professionalism and care
- Assist clients with applications for programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, tax services, and voter registration
- Accurately enter and manage client information in an online database
- Maintain confidentiality while delivering respectful, high-quality service
- Work closely with team members and community partners
- Participate in trainings and support special projects as needed
What We're Looking For- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of call center, customer service, or client-facing experience
- Strong bilingual communication skills (Spanish preferred)
- Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable handling multi-line phones and high call volumes
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in a nonprofit environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- A genuine passion for helping others
