Customer Service Representative

About the Role

Saf-Gard® and our sister company SR Max® are growing, and we're expanding our Customer Care Team to support customers across the country. In this role, you'll assist customers with product questions, order support, issue resolution, and account-related inquiries while helping maintain the high level of service our customers have come to expect.

What You'll Do

Customer Support & Service

  • Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and other support channels
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and company programs
  • Assist customers with order entry, order status updates, and account-related questions
  • Resolve customer concerns and support issue resolution in a professional and timely manner
  • Deliver outstanding customer support while maintaining a positive customer experience

Account & Order Management

  • Update customer accounts and maintain accurate customer records
  • Document customer interactions and follow-up activities
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer needs are addressed
  • Support customer retention efforts through proactive communication and service

Team Collaboration & Product Knowledge

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of evolving products, programs, and services
  • Collaborate with team members to solve customer challenges
  • Share customer feedback and insights with internal teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Customer Care Team

What We're Looking For

  • Bilingual is Required (Spanish)
  • Previous experience in customer service, customer support, client services, sales support, or related customer-facing roles
  • Call center experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Accurate data entry and typing skills
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Primary schedule:
    • Monday–Friday, 10:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (in office, one weekday off)
    • Saturday shifts between 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (hybrid)
  • Candidates should also be available to work traditional business hours when needed
  • Schedule details will be discussed during the interview process

Compensation & Benefits

  • Company-paid dental, vision, long-term disability, short-term disability, and life insurance beginning the first of the month after 60 days

  • PTO is available after 90 days, accrued bi-weekly at a rate of 3.08 hours (2 weeks annualized after 1st year). Bi-weekly accrual rate increases to 4.62 hours after 7 years (3 weeks annualized)
