Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring and reliable Bilingual Daycare Assistant to support our childcare team. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish and is passionate about working with young children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines

  • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times

  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff in English and Spanish

  • Help with meal times, nap time, and bathroom routines

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment

  • Support learning through play, activities, and educational materials

  • Help manage transitions between activities throughout the day

Requirements:


  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)

  • Experience working with children (daycare, preschool, babysitting, or similar) preferred

  • Patient, responsible, and nurturing personality

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to supervise multiple children and stay attentive

  • Must pass background check and meet local childcare requirements

Preferred Qualifications:


  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Early childhood education coursework or experience

  • Previous daycare or preschool experience
