As our Distribution Scheduling & Customer Support Associate, you’ll balance customer care, accounts receivable tasks, and on-the-dock coordination so every shipment and invoice stays on track.
Your mission
Keep customers informed, invoices accurate, and dock operations flowing—while partnering closely with warehouse clerical staff, corporate teams, drivers, suppliers, and carriers.
What you’ll own
- Accounts Receivable: Review invoices for accuracy, maintain active files for open items, and create aging receivable reports.
- Dock Flow: Check drivers in and out all day, assign doors, and print BOLs and outbound details.
- Shipment Details: Capture shipper release numbers, confirm destinations, and record trailer numbers.
- Operational Rhythm: Monitor inventories, track load progress, and escalate schedule risks.
- Data Discipline: Rapid, precise entry of daily information; build time-sensitive and customer delivery reports.
- Customer Care: Manage phone and written communications; troubleshoot inquiries; proactively share performance insights.
- Supplier Partnerships: Develop and manage relationships to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
What you bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Office 365 experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and fast, accurate data entry
- AS400 familiarity is a plus
- Energetic, dependable, and detail-oriented; bilingual communication helps you support a diverse audience
