    Description

    Adelphi is seeking Bilingual Educational Diagnosticians to provide services to students at schools in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidates will conduct comprehensive bilingual evaluations, interpret assessment results, determine eligibility for special education services, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the development of appropriate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

    Requirements:
    • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
    • Master’s degree in education, special education, or a related field
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
    • Experience conducting bilingual evaluations in school settings

    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct comprehensive bilingual evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for special education services.
    • Administer, score, and interpret assessments in the student’s appropriate language while considering cultural and linguistic factors.
    • Prepare compliant Full and Individual Evaluation (FIE) reports and develop recommendations based on assessment results.
    • Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and communicate findings to families and educational teams in English and Spanish.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related-service providers to support student needs.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA, FERPA, state, and District requirements.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
