Help Build the Future of a Growing Concrete Company—Not Just Run Someone Else's Jobsite

If you're an experienced Concrete Superintendent—or an exceptional Concrete Foreman who's ready to take the next step—this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Our client is a well-established and highly respected concrete contractor based in the Lincoln area. For nearly 30 years, they've built an outstanding reputation for quality workmanship, loyal employees, and long-term customer relationships. Their work is primarily residential concrete, along with agricultural and select commercial projects.

The owner has built a successful business through hard work, integrity, and taking care of both customers and employees. Now he's looking for the right operational leader to help build the next chapter of the company.

This isn't a role where you're expected to simply inherit someone else's systems.

It's an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

You'll oversee field operations, develop Foremen and crews, improve scheduling and communication, build stronger systems, and become the trusted leader the owner relies on to keep projects running smoothly while the company continues to grow.

Just as importantly, this company is committed to investing in your growth. Throughout your onboarding and first year, you'll receive ongoing leadership coaching and development designed to help you become an even stronger operational leader. If you've been looking for a company that's willing to invest in your long-term success—not just your ability to run jobs—this opportunity is different.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $95,000-$100,000
  • Performance Bonus: $10,000-$20,000
  • Long-Term Earning Potential: $120,000-$140,000+
  • Company truck
  • Fuel provided
  • Company phone
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Paid lodging when overnight travel is required
  • $75 daily per diem while traveling
  • Ongoing leadership coaching and development throughout your first year
  • Opportunity to play a significant role in the company's long-term growth, with the potential for increasing leadership responsibilities as the business continues to grow

What You'll Be Doing

You'll serve as the company's senior field operations leader, overseeing multiple concrete projects while ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the company's high standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading multiple active projects
  • Managing and developing Foremen and field crews
  • Creating and communicating weekly work schedules
  • Coordinating manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
  • Monitoring labor productivity and job costs
  • Maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards
  • Serving as the primary field contact for customers
  • Solving problems before they become delays
  • Developing future Foremen and crew leaders
  • Improving the systems and processes that will allow the company to continue growing

Within your first few months, you'll be trusted to independently manage projects, strengthen customer relationships, improve communication between the office and the field, and reduce the owner's day-to-day involvement in field operations.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who's earned the respect of their crews—not because of their title, but because of how they lead.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience leading concrete construction crews and multiple projects
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
  • A hands-on leadership style
  • The ability to build trust with employees and customers alike
  • Experience coordinating labor, equipment, and materials
  • A passion for mentoring and developing future leaders
  • A stable work history with increasing leadership responsibility
  • A genuine desire to help build a company—not simply work for one

Bilingual Communication Is Required

Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

You'll communicate daily with both English- and Spanish-speaking employees. Clear communication is essential for leading crews, conducting safety meetings, providing direction, solving problems, building trust, and maintaining a productive jobsite.

Outstanding Concrete Foremen Are Encouraged to Apply

You don't have to already hold the title of Superintendent.

If you've consistently led crews, delivered outstanding work, earned the respect of your team, and you're ready for the next step in your career, we'd like to talk with you.

This company recognizes leadership potential and is willing to invest in the right individual who's ready to continue growing.

Travel

Projects are generally located within approximately a 300-350 mile radius of Lincoln. Overnight travel is required when projects are outside the local area. Lodging is paid by the company, you'll receive a $75 daily per diem, and in most cases you'll be home for the weekend.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

A lot of companies hire someone to keep the trains running.

This company is looking for someone who wants to help build the railroad.

You'll work directly alongside the owner, influence the future direction of the business, develop future leaders, improve operations, and become an integral part of the company's long-term success.

If you're looking for more than just another Superintendent position—and you'd like the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow as a leader—we'd welcome a confidential conversation.
