Bilingual Forklift Operator

Job Summary:

Forklift Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down (including reach trucks) to move goods between receiving, storage, and shipping areas in cold storage.
• Load and unload products from trucks, trailers, and railcars; secure loads and ensure proper pallet stacking.
• Assist with put-away, picking, packing, and order staging; verify and label inventory; support cycle counts and audits.
• Work in controlled temperature environments (often as low as -20°ree;F / -25°ree;C) while wearing appropriate PPE.
• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections; follow OSHA and facility safety rules; maintain safe speeds, visibility, and fork positioning

Qualifications:

• Forklift certified
• Bilingual English/ Spanish
• Prior forklift operation experience, preferably in a warehouse or cold storage setting.
• Strength to lift and maneuver heavy loads; ability to work in cold, humid conditions.
• Accuracy in loading/unloading, inventory tracking, and safety compliance.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
