Bilingual Front Desk - Float (East Region) - Job Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls with enthusiasm and direct them appropriately.
  • Welcome clients and ensure they are promptly attended to by the appropriate staff.
  • Accurately enter patient information into our systems.
  • Support the volunteer coordinator in managing volunteers effectively.
  • Adhere to appointment and scheduling procedures as outlined by management.
  • Manage client payments following established cash handling procedures.
  • Efficiently perform opening and closing duties.
  • Maintain a tidy, welcoming, and organized clinic lobby.
  • Process lab results following the directions of the Practice Manager.
  • Engage actively in the Performance Improvement Program to enhance service quality.
  • Show respect and consideration to all patients, families, visitors, and staff.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Operate equipment and perform procedures safely and correctly.
  • Report any safety concerns immediately and participate in safety training.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Pleasant, professional, and articulate phone voice.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle many incoming calls or patients at once.
  • Efficient and accurate data-entry skills.
  • Computer literacy and multi-line phone or switchboard experience.
  • Basic math, alphabetical or numerical filing knowledge may be required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
