Bilingual General Labor/Translator (English/Spanish) [St. James, MO]

CCI Contractors is looking for a dependable English/Spanish Translator who is also willing to work alongside our construction crews as a General Laborer.

This is not an office-only translation position. The right candidate will spend part of the day translating between English- and Spanish-speaking team members and the rest of the day assisting with general construction labor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Translate verbal communication between English- and Spanish-speaking employees and supervisors.

• Help ensure work instructions and safety information are clearly understood.

• Perform general labor tasks on active commercial construction projects.

• Assist with jobsite cleanup, material handling, and other duties as assigned.

• Work as part of the crew while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken, reading, and writing).

• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with workers and supervisors.

• Able to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors.

• Reliable transportation to the jobsite.

• Construction experience is preferred but not required—we will train the right person.

This is a project-based, full-time position expected to last through the completion of the current project.
