Position Overview:The Bilingual (German/English) Senior Audit Associate will lead audit engagements for U.S.-inbound international businesses, support team development, and ensure high-quality deliverables for clients in the manufacturing and distribution sectors. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise audit engagements across various industries.- Develop and execute audit programs, including setting objectives, identifying risks, evaluating controls, and designing test procedures.- Perform technical accounting research on diverse topics.- Provide timely, high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations.- Communicate proactively to manage timelines and ensure client satisfaction.- Prepare clear and concise workpapers and documentation.- Mentor and train staff while supporting their professional development.- Delegate effectively and oversee team performance by setting goals and removing barriers.- Collaborate with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development efforts.- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to junior team members. Qualifications:- Native or fluent proficiency in German.- 3–5 years of public accounting experience.- BA/BS in Accounting or Master's in Accounting/Taxation.- Strong teamwork, leadership, and professional integrity.- Excellent English research, writing, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:- CPA license or similar certification.- Experience in manufacturing and distribution.- ProSystem fx Engagement experience.- CCH Axcess experience.
