Bilingual Healthcare Appointment Setter (English/Spanish) — Remote (Texas)

$14.00/hour base production pay + up to $1.00/hour performance incentive | Remote | Flexible self-scheduling

Knowledge Rhino is hiring bilingual English/Spanish professionals for a remote, high-volume outbound appointment-setting position serving existing healthcare plan members.

This is an outbound calling and appointment-setting role, not inbound customer service. You will contact existing healthcare plan members, explain a healthcare service available through their plan, answer questions, address member concerns, and help eligible members schedule an appointment.

This is not traditional cold calling. You are contacting existing health plan members, and eligible members are not charged for the service.

Compensation

• Training: $7.25 per hour
• Production base pay: $14.00 per hour
• Performance incentive: Earn up to an additional $1.00 per production hour based on established performance criteria
• Total potential production pay: Up to $15.00 per hour

Flexible Production Schedule

After successfully completing training, employees can build their production schedules within available operating hours.

• Work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with opportunities to work up to 40 hours
• Select production shifts in two-hour blocks
• Schedule production hours Monday through Saturday
• Choose from available production hours each week
• Adjust future schedules based on available shift inventory

Training follows a separate fixed schedule and requires full attendance.

What You'll Do

• Make high-volume outbound calls to existing healthcare plan members
• Communicate with members in both English and Spanish
• Explain available healthcare services and their benefits using approved information
• Build rapport quickly and professionally
• Answer basic member questions
• Address concerns and overcome objections
• Help eligible members schedule appointments
• Accurately document call outcomes
• Meet established expectations for attendance, quality, call activity, and appointment conversion
• Deliver professional, respectful, and compassionate member interactions

What We're Looking For

• Fluency in both English and Spanish
• Previous outbound call center, appointment-setting, inside sales, retention, healthcare outreach, or similar experience preferred
• Confidence making back-to-back outbound calls
• Ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
• Comfortable speaking with members who may initially be hesitant or uninterested
• Ability to professionally respond to objections and confidently ask for the appointment
• Comfortable working toward measurable individual performance goals
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to work independently in a structured remote environment
• Residence in Texas
• Ability to successfully complete a required background check

Home-Office Requirements

You must have:

• Windows 11 computer
• Minimum 16 GB RAM
• Two monitors
• Wired Ethernet connection
• Reliable high-speed internet
• Noise-canceling USB headset
• Quiet, private workspace appropriate for healthcare-related conversations

Computer, internet, and home-office requirements will be verified before training begins.
