Join our team! The Human Resources Department is seeking a Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join the team at the corporate Burlington, WI office. Key focus of this role is providing tactical, day to day support to the Human Resources staff, with a preference for a bilingual (Spanish) hire to support employee communication and engagement at both the Burlington and Whitewater facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Bilingual HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR Team, employees, and cross-functional departments. This role assists with all aspects of Human Resources administration, including new hire setup/onboarding, employee life cycle changes, employee relations and payroll & benefits support.

The successful candidate will be people focused, organized, detail-oriented and a consistent executor of standard work/processes. In addition, the ideal candidate is fluent in both English & Spanish.

Human Resources Administration

  • Assist with new hire setup, onboarding, orientation, and completion of employment documentation.
  • Support employee offboarding processes, including exit paperwork and record updates.
  • Process employee change forms
  • Maintain accurate employee files and HR records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepare HR letters, reports and correspondence

Employee Relations

  • Assist employees with questions related to company policies, benefits, attendance, and HRIS system.
  • Serve as a bilingual resource for employees and supervisors
  • Translate HR communication and documents between English and Spanish.

Benefits, Payroll & Leave Management Support

  • Support benefits administration by conducting benefit reviews and responding to employee benefit inquiries.
  • Support the execution of the annual open enrollment process
  • Assist with the administration of leave management, including FMLA
  • Assist with worker's compensation, safety initiatives, and other HR processes, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will have the following experience for this position:

  • 1-2 years previous administrative experience required, Associates degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred
  • Prior experience in HR is required
  • Must be Bilingual (English/ Spanish) - Sufficient fluency in Spanish in order to meet job responsibilities
  • Prior experience with Paylocity (preferred not required)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills consistently
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize different projects/tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong professionalism - maintaining complete confidentiality and professionalism in all situations
  • Team based - enjoy working within a team while maintaining strong individual ownership for process accuracy
  • MS Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
