• Contract to hire: 3 mos to convert

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team, with a primary focus on leaves of absence administration, benefits, offboarding, and HR reporting. This is a great fit for someone who thrives on process, compliance, and delivering a great employee experience from day one through departure.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as the primary administrator for employee leaves of absence (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, PDL, baby bonding, and personal), including eligibility, documentation, and tracking
• Administer non-union employee benefits programs alongside our insurance broker, including new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and open enrollment
• Manage the full offboarding process - exit interviews, final pay coordination, COBRA notices, and HRIS terminations
• Maintain absence and turnover reporting, identifying trends and providing insight to MFE leadership
• Support general HR functions as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual Spanish a must
• Working knowledge of leave of absence laws (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, PDL) strongly preferred
• Prior experience administering employee benefits preferred
• High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite; HRIS and reporting experience a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee information
• A team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (occasional local driving)
