We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician – Chemistry to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing laboratory. The ideal candidate will have previous laboratory experience, knowledge of GMP/GLP practices, experience working with laboratory equipment such as HPLC, and must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
This position is responsible for performing routine chemical testing of pharmaceutical raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products while maintaining accurate documentation and following established laboratory procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities
Perform routine chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
Follow established SOPs, GMPs, GLPs, and laboratory safety procedures.
Prepare volumetric solutions, test solutions, reagents, and mobile phases.
Operate laboratory equipment, including HPLC, ICP/ICP-MS, GC, UV, and FT-NIR, as applicable.
Perform titration and other standard laboratory testing techniques.
Calculate, interpret, and review laboratory test results.
Prepare test reports and maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and records.
Maintain required documentation according to SOPs and cGLP requirements.
Assist with Phase I Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations when required.
Operate, maintain, calibrate, and assist with the qualification of laboratory equipment.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.
Wash laboratory glassware and properly handle laboratory waste.
Change waste containers and assist with handling or replacing gas cylinders as required.
Dispose of laboratory waste according to applicable EPA and company procedures.
Assist Chemists and other laboratory personnel as needed.
Follow all laboratory, GMP, and workplace safety requirements.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science discipline and/or equivalent work experience
1 - 3 years’ experience in a laboratory
Basic use of Excel, Word and quality management systems.
Knowledge of lab equipment (HPLC, ICP-MS, GC, UV, FT NIR
Basic math skills
Knowledge in GMPs and Safety practices
Knowledge of GLP practices.
Availability to work rotating or night shifts.
Commitment to good cleaning, safety, and documentation practices
Bilingual English/Spanish is required. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both languages.
Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
