Job Description
- Work directly with the Loan Collection Manager to coordinate collection workflow activities
- Locate and identify responsible parties through multiple channels and resolve past due
amounts by negotiating payments, payment arrangements or other delinquency curing transactions a borrower may be eligible for.
- Identify reason(s) for delinquency.
- Research history on current loans.
- Educate borrowers and co-borrowers about their payment obligation and the terms of their loans.
- Convey the consequences of non-payment to borrowers and co-borrowers.
- Create financial, administrative, and maintenance transactions
- Verify points of contact for borrowers and co-borrowers (addresses, phone numbers, email addresses).
- Maintain an advanced working knowledge of lending products, services and collection practices
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
