Bilingual LVN II - Houston, TX

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $29.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Bilingual LVN II to support a leading healthcare system in Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for an LVN who is skilled in clinical support, patient care, and care coordination and enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and quality patient care within the scope of practice defined by the Texas Nurse Practice Act.

• Assist physicians and registered nurses with medical procedures and patient care activities.

• Administer medications and perform various tests while obtaining and documenting patient vital signs.

• Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures.

• Collect pertinent clinical information to support RNs, APPs, and physicians with patient telephone calls and treatment-related requests.

• Assist with referrals and treatment authorizations and provide appropriate information to patients.

• Accurately document patient care and services in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe clinical and treatment areas.

• Stock and order treatment room supplies as needed.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with physicians, nurses, patients, and other healthcare team members.

• Participate in team problem-solving and support a positive, collaborative work environment.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Graduation from an approved LVN

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant LVN experience required.

• Current Texas LVN license required.

• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Urology experience preferred.

• Strong clinical, communication, organization, and patient service skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.

• Ability to provide professional and compassionate patient care while maintaining confidentiality.
