Bilingual Medical Assistant (Temp) – Dunnellon, FL

Pay: $20–$23/hour

Bilingual Medical Assistant Position Overview

• Temporary Medical Assistant role supporting both clinical and front office operations
• Provides direct patient care while assisting providers and ensuring a positive patient experience
• Works in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment

Bilingual Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, medical history, and document in EMR
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments
• Perform clinical duties including injections, phlebotomy, IV support, wound care, and basic diagnostic testing
• Conduct CLIA-waived lab tests and process specimens for send-out labs
• Handle front office tasks such as scheduling, phone calls, and patient check-in/out
• Provide patient education and follow-up communication (appointments, medications, care coordination)
• Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and inventory of medical supplies

Bilingual Medical Assistant Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience preferred
• MA certification (CMA/RMA), CPR, IV, and phlebotomy experience preferred
• Knowledge of EMR systems, medical terminology, and basic clinical procedures
• Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills

Additional Details

• Must be comfortable with both clinical and administrative duties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation required
