Location: Sarasota, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week
Pay Range: $20-$22 hourly based on experience

Position Summary:
The Bilingual Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, providing a welcoming, compassionate, and professional experience both in person and over the phone. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, supporting client intake, and maintaining accurate records within the Center’s systems.

What You’ll Do:
- Greet clients and visitors, creating a warm and welcoming environment
- Answer and manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and route calls appropriately
- Coordinate daily schedules to optimize provider time and client flow
- Assist with client intake, including distributing and collecting paperwork
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in EMR systems
- Notify providers of client arrivals and support smooth clinic flow
- Maintain reception area organization and professionalism
- Respond appropriately to client needs, including high-stress or sensitive situations
- Support communication between medical and education teams
- Assist with referrals to educational, navigation, and behavioral health services
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and medical information
- Utilize systems such as eClinicalWorks, Ekyros, and other internal platforms (training provided)
- Participate in team prayer/devotional calls and contribute to team culture
- Support administrative tasks and special projects as needed
What You’ll Need:
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing role (preferably in a healthcare, medical office, or clinic setting)
- Experience answering high-volume phone lines and scheduling appointments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive or emotional situations
- Experience working with computers, scheduling systems, or EMRs
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare setting
- Experience with EMR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) and medical documentation
- Medical Assistant certification or Community Health Worker training
