About the Role
As our Nurturing Parenting Program Practitioner, you will support and educate parents referred by the Department of Child Safety, to help them improve their parenting skills, empathy toward their children’s needs, learn non-violent discipline, and establish healthy parent/child family roles. You will conduct initial assessments and service plans to recognize parenting issues to address and list attainable goals for success. This position works up to 20 weeks with parents, and observes interactions with their children/youth, offering the opportunity to provide real time training. You will meet with clients in the community and office settings. As part of our HRT team, you will receive supportive supervision and case review, to aid in your professional growth.
Responsibilities
· Conduct initial assessments to identify parenting needs and areas for growth
· Develop and implement individualized service plans with measurable goals
· Provide structured parenting education focused on empathy, non-violent discipline, and healthy family roles
· Observe parent-child interactions and provide real-time coaching and feedback
· Meet with clients in community and office-based settings
· Document services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with agency and contractual requirements
· Collaborate with Department of Child Safety referrals and related stakeholders
· Participate in supportive supervision and case review meetings
· Maintain compliance with all state, agency, and contractual standards
· Ensure the safety, health, and welfare of clients and families at all times
Required Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of human services or child welfare experience (e.g., Daycare, Pre-K, Behavior Management Aide, Group Home Worker, Case Aide); or
· Associate degree in a human services field (Psychology, Social Work, Family/Early Childhood Studies, etc.); or
· Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (Psychology, Social Work, Family/Early Childhood Studies, etc.)
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
· Ability to obtain and maintain DCS Clearance
· Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR Certification
· Current Arizona State Driver’s License with a good driving record for the past three (3) years
· Current personal vehicle liability insurance and vehicle registration

- $21 - $22.08/hr. depending upon experience and bi-lingual ability
- Sign-On bonus of $1000 is divided into 60 days and 90 days.
