Office Assistant Bilingual in Spanish. In-Person In Office.

We are a small group practice providing mental health counseling. We serve the Hispanic, Latinx community.

This position is for a BILINGUAL Office Assistant (English-Spanish).

Schedule: 9am to 6pm. 1h lunch break.

Days/Hours: Monday through Friday.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Performs reception duties, answering phones, texts, and emails.
  • Act as a resource to staff and clients.
  • Responsible for insurance verification, set client fees, balance payment agreements, and administrative intakes.
  • Update and maintain records in proprietary software and webpages.
  • Manage office paperwork and flow.
  • Does data entry, references information on the computer, schedules, runs basic reports as needed.
  • Scanning, copying, and faxing as needed.
  • Receive payment, send claims, and record receipts for services.
  • Filling up paperwork to report send to insurances from credentialing.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain and update appointment calendars.
  • Assists with Insurances credentialing, billing and other inquires.
  • Assists with on-barding of employees.
  • Helps the CEO to perform duties related to the company.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Previous experience/formal education preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communications skills in  (English/Spanish).
  • Good computer skills including a functional knowledge of Drive, Word, and Excel, telephone skills, and electronic record systems.
  • Able to perform tasks while being interrupted.
  • Ability to master proprietary software which may include online scheduling and billing.
  • Knowledge and previous experience with office equipment including photocopying, faxing and scanning, etc.
  • Able to pass pre-employment screening including State Fingerprints.
  • Able to provide proof of legal employment in the US.
