The Bilingual Paraprofessional Provides academic support for limited English speaking students. Assist second language students in reading and language development. Communicate with students, teachers, school personnel, and families in two different languages (English and non-English).

Qualifications Required
Bilingual required (will be required to do a written and oral test.) Must be able to speak, write and read in English and Spanish.
General knowledge of the practices, methods and techniques used in the teaching of other languages
Basic proficiency in routine aspects of a
Bilingual Paraprofessional
Excellent communication skills in English
and Spanish.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to follow the teacher's plan and
direction, and communicate effectively with
students and staff.
Experience of up to one year in a job-related
field (i.e. working with children and families;
working with diverse communities and
families.)
