Job Summary
To serve as a Bilingual Aide to teachers to assist teachers at various school sites in the instruction of limited-English proficient students to promote cross-cultural understanding and facilitate learning. To perform clerical and paraprofessional duties both outside and in the classroom and to do other related work as may be required.

Possession of a secondary school diploma or its recognized equivalent and one of the following requirements:
Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education or obtained an associates or higher degree or met a rigorous standard of quality and be able to demonstrate through a formal State or local academic assessment knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading writing and mathematics or as appropriate reading readiness writing readiness and mathematics readiness.
