This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, improving processes, and making sure the operation runs safely and efficiently.As the Plant Production Supervisor/Lead, you will work closely with the management team to oversee plant operations, production, distribution and our team of associates. You'll have the opportunity to directly influence productivity, quality, employee development, and overall plant performance.If you are a strong leader who leads by example, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and knows how to bring out the best in a team, we want to hear from you!What You'll DoLead, coach, train, and motivate production employeesOversee daily plant operations, including processing, shipping, and distributionCreate schedules and ensure staffing needs are metTrain and mentor associates while ensuring company training requirements are completedMonitor production, quality, safety, and efficiencyIdentify opportunities to improve processes and increase productivity and profitabilityAddress employee concerns and effectively resolve workplace conflictsConduct employee evaluations and establish performance goalsDelegate responsibilities and follow up to ensure work is completedWork closely with the management team and other levels of leadershipHelp maintain equipment, facility, and overall plant operationsMaintain accurate records and ensure company policies and procedures are followedPromote a safe, positive, and team-oriented work environmentCommunicate effectively with employees, management, vendors, customers, and other company locationsWhat We're Looking ForBilingual in Spanish and English – requiredPrevious production, manufacturing, warehouse, or plant management experienceStrong leadership and people-management skillsExperience scheduling, training, coaching, and developing employeesStrong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to lead by example and be a hands-on leaderStrong communication and organizational skillsComfortable working with employees and leaders at all levelsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook a plusSelf-motivated with strong follow-through and good judgmentA positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever neededHigh energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentSchedule & Physical RequirementsMust be willing to work some weekends as neededHours may vary based on production and customer needsMust be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 poundsHigh school diploma or GED preferred, not required Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as requiredWhy Join our company?Virginia Linen Service is a family-owned local company with a long history of serving our communities.
