Responsibilities:
Maintain and control Quality and Food Safety records to ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Verify that Food Safety and Quality records are completed accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
Train warehouse employees on GMPs, food safety practices, PPE requirements, and quality procedures as needed.
Conduct routine inspections and verifications of warehouse operations to ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and housekeeping standards.
Verify the calibration and proper functioning of measuring equipment, including thermometers and scales.
Monitor storage conditions, product temperatures, inventory rotation, and shelf-life requirements.
Manage non-conforming and hold products, ensuring proper identification, segregation, documentation, and disposition.
Investigate and follow up on product deviations, corrective and preventive actions, and customer or supplier quality complaints.
Maintain accurate quality records and prepare required reports.
Support workplace safety programs by conducting safety inspections and assisting with incident reporting and follow-up.
Skills and requirements:
1-2 years of experience in a food-related manufacturing facility.
College degree in Food Science or related field with HACCP certification.
Quality Control experience in a food manufacturing facility.
Knowledge of USDA/SQF/SOP and inspection performance (a plus).
Knowledge of basic GMPs. (is a plus).
Must be able to read and write in English to perform necessary documentation.
