Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter and Trainer to join our Janitorial Company. In this role, you will scour all available avenues to fill our open positions with the best-qualified candidates. Your responsibilities will include defining hiring criteria, researching possible candidates online, on social media sites and at physical locations, reaching out to potential hires with information about the positions and training them. The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator with a background in the janitorial world and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.


Responsibilities 

• Oversee and coordinate all stages of the hiring process and recruiting strategy
• Create and update job descriptions, requirements, and objectives
• Research potential hires on resume databases and portfolio sites
• Reach out to candidates via phone / email / face to face and follow up with regular communication
• Build a network of contacts and potential candidates
• Place ads and write copy for open positions
• Conduct in-person, video, and phone interviews
• Travel to areas where recruitment is needed to canvas common areas
• Train new recruits

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Recruiter
• Experience conducting interviews and background checks
• Experience with sourcing tools and techniques
• Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects 
• Excellent verbal and written English and Spanish language
• Reliable transportation
• Physically able to perform all janitorial tasks
