The Staff Pad has partnered with a leadingnon-profit healthcare organization Southern California to hire dependableRegistered Dental Assistants (RDAs) to support exceptional patient careacross multiple Company sites by assisting dentists and addressing patientneeds and concerns.
In this role you will be responsible for preparingpatients for treatment, assisting with restorative dentistry and oral surgeryprocedures, preparing materials and equipment, taking X-rays, assisting withlaboratory work and providing administrative, operational clinical support (schedulingappointments, answering phones, ordering supplies, and processing dentalbilling) as needed.
Schedule (Floater position): Full-Time | Part-Time | Saturday availabilityrequired
What You’ll Do
- Deliver an exceptional patientexperience & address patient concerns
- Pass instruments & materials to thedentist during procedures and maintain a clear treatment field using suction& other devices
- Maintain a clean, sterile treatmentenvironment & disinfect operatories per ADA guidelines
- Obtain, review & update patientdental & health histories including care slips
- Escort patients throughout the visit &maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Prepare procedure trays, maintainoperatory supplies, sterilize & disinfect instruments and equipment
- Take adult and pediatric X-rays & prepareimpression and restoration materials
- Educate patients on postoperative careand demonstrate oral hygiene techniques
- Complete required dental equipment logsin compliance with audit requirements
- Perform monthly checks of the emergencymedical kit and adult and pediatric oxygen equipment
- Maintain inventory and order dentalsupplies
- Perform pediatric prophylaxis and applyfluoride treatments
- Document patient charts & doctornotes and ensure treatment records, consents, health histories are completed andsigned by the doctor
- Ensure compliance with State DentalAuxiliary regulations, all applicable regulatory and Company policies
- Enter prescriptions and patientinformation into the EHR
- Attend required meetings, trainings, andwork-related events
- Perform other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- One year of Registered DentalAssistant (RDA) experience; Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of medical technology
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)

- Strong written, verbal, andinterpersonal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities;Ability to maintain visual acuity and focus

- Occasional standing, walking, bending,and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Ability to follow written and verbalinstructions and adapt to office procedures and policies
