Bilingual Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Floater | Full -Time | Part -Time

The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading non -profit healthcare organization Southern California to hire dependable Registered Dental Assistants (RDAs) to support exceptional patient care across multiple Company sites by assisting dentists and addressing patient needs and concerns.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

In this role you will be responsible for preparing patients for treatment, assisting with restorative dentistry and oral surgery procedures, preparing materials and equipment, taking X -rays, assisting with laboratory work and providing administrative, operational clinical support (scheduling appointments, answering phones, ordering supplies, and processing dental billing) as needed.<\/span><\/span>

What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Deliver an exceptional patient experience & address patient concerns<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Pass instruments & materials to the dentist during procedures and maintain a clear treatment field using suction & other devices<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Maintain a clean, sterile treatment environment & disinfect operatories per ADA guidelines<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Obtain, review & update patient dental & health histories including care slips<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Escort patients throughout the visit & maintain a professional appearance and demeanor<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Prepare procedure trays, maintain operatory supplies, sterilize & disinfect instruments and equipment<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Take adult and pediatric X -rays & prepare impression and restoration materials<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Educate patients on postoperative care and demonstrate oral hygiene techniques<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Complete required dental equipment logs in compliance with audit requirements<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Perform monthly checks of the emergency medical kit and adult and pediatric oxygen equipment<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Maintain inventory and order dental supplies<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Perform pediatric prophylaxis and apply fluoride treatments<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Document patient charts & doctor notes and ensure treatment records, consents, health histories are completed and signed by the doctor<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Ensure compliance with State Dental Auxiliary regulations, all applicable regulatory and Company policies<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Enter prescriptions and patient information into the EHR<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and work -related events<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Perform other duties as assigned<\/span><\/span>

    Qualifications<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p>

    • High school diploma or GED preferred; Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • One year of Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) experience; Current CPR certification<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge of medical technology<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications; EHR experience preferred<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to office procedures and policies<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
