About the Job

Work Schedule: Hybrid, M-F, 9am - 5pm

Duties/Responsibilities:

75%- Recruitment and Enrollment:

  • Perform community outreach within Hmong communities for clinical research studies.
  • Coordinate participant recruitment within the Hmong community.
  • Consent new recruits for Hmong American research in brain health, aging registry, and biorepository studies.
  • Perform psychometrics measures.

20%- Data Entry:

  • Input dataset entry into RedCap, NACC, and UDS.
  • Perform data inventory management.

5%- Data analysis:

  • Perform data analysis.
  • Assist in manuscript preparation and submission.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree plus at least two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least six years.
  • Experience with clinical research studies.
  • Bilingual: Hmong and English (This position will require you to speak and read in both English and Hmong or Thai/ Lao to recruit Hmong American research participants for brain health, aging registry, and biorepository research study.)
  • Experience working with (Hmong and English) elders in a community setting.
  • Established familiarity with Hmong community.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable about clinical research in dementia patients.
  • Comfortable to interact with elderly individuals with cognitive deficits or other neurologic disorders.
  • Fluent/proficient writing skills in Hmong, Thai and/ or Lao.
  • Ability to learn to deliver bilingual (Hmong and English) psychometrics testing with research participants.
