We are P&A Produce, a leading wholesale distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables serving retail and wholesale buyers across the region. We need a driven bilingual sales representative who can find new accounts, close deals, and grow a book of business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Sales and business development
  • Prospect and close new retail and wholesale produce accounts
  • Negotiate pricing and deal terms based on volume and market conditions
  • Prepare quotes and close deals with urgency and professionalism
  • Track sales performance data and refine strategy
  • Attend industry events and network for new business opportunities
Account management
  • Serve as the primary contact for your accounts — responsive and reliable
  • Grow existing accounts through upsell and expansion
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
  • Advise customers on product characteristics, seasonality, and handling

Product expertise
  • Develop expert knowledge of fresh produce: varieties, seasonality, nutrition, storage
  • Stay current on produce industry trends and food safety regulations

Order operations
  • Process customer orders accurately using our order management system
  • Maintain organized account records
  • Follow safety and sanitation standards

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bilingual: fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience; food and beverage industry preferred
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple accounts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; order management software experience a plus
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Base salary: $50,000 to $65,000, based on experience
