Bilingual Sales Representative

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish and have strong communication, customer service, and sales skills. This role is responsible for assisting customers with product selection, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and supporting daily sales operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person and over the phone with product selection, pricing, and order inquiries
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support sales growth
• Process customer orders, invoices, work orders, and sales tickets accurately
• Coordinate with internal departments including purchasing, production, delivery, and technical teams
• Prepare material takeoffs for residential and commercial construction projects
• Research product availability, pricing, and lead times for special orders
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom
• Handle customer concerns, returns, credits, and payment issues professionally
• Operate and balance the cash register according to company procedures
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives to ensure excellent customer service
• Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Spanish required
• Previous customer service, sales, or construction industry experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable using computer systems and learning industry software
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of building materials or construction applications is a plus
