We are looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to manage all caregiver work schedules and maintain routine correspondence by collecting personal information.

Our Scheduling Coordinator must possess excellent communication skills with attention to detail while fostering positive relationships with our customers. Have exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to multitask adhering to strict policies and deadlines. In addition, has a high proficiency in scheduling home health software, such as WellSky (formerly Clear Care), Alore, or AxisCare and experience with Microsoft 365.

Education:
  • Education equivalent to a high school diploma. One to three years of verifiable work history with home health scheduling strongly preferred.
 Responsibilities:
  • Manages PCWs schedules for 100+ clients daily requiring occasional on-call duties, including after hour coverage, holidays, and weekends.
  • Accept and transfer calls to and from clients, families, facilities and other entities and triage to the appropriate Case Manager, Supervisor, or other personnel. 
  • Communicates with all PCWs daily to adjust and/or add time clock entries, work hours, schedules and fill open shifts.
  • Reviews completed on-site supervisory visits to ensure PCWs are meeting care and skill expectation goals for clients.
  • Manages, processes, and audits hours for payroll/billing on a weekly basis ensuring entry is timely and accurate.
  • Accurately log all activity in an electronic health record system ensuring computer data and files are accurate and updated for PCW and client relating to human resources, scheduling, and availability.
  • Conducts Scheduling Orientation and training of PCWs ensuring KSAs meet expectations for assignments or tasks.
Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish.
  • Professional experience in the field of customer service relating to the healthcare industry.
  • Minimum of two years of experience and knowledge in scheduling with home health software system.
  • Minimum of one year in a staffing/recruiting position.
  • Phone etiquette and must have experience using telephones with multiple lines and multi-task on several calls.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and use sound judgment and discretion successfully.
