Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday / 11am - 8pm
Summary:
Under the guidance of the Prevention of Sexual Abuse (PSA) Compliance Manager, the Security Monitor is primarily responsible for the review of camera footage and day-to-day interactions between staff and child, child and child, and staff and staff. The Security Monitor is continuously observing interactions and routines to find deviations in routines and/or policies and procedures. The Security Monitor will alert program management to high-risk situations and help identify ways to mitigate risk based on observations. The Security Monitor has no supervisory responsibilities and reports directly to the PSA Compliance Manager.

Position Responsibilities:
At Seton Home's sole discretion, and with or without notice, Seton Home may require employees to alter their work schedules to fulfill job responsibilities or handle work situations of an emergency nature. Likewise, at Seton Home's sole discretion, and with written approval of the Department Head of Human Resources and Executive Director, employees may arrange an alternate or flexible work schedule, provided Seton Home needs can be fully met under such an arrangement.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent;
Experience
Minimum of one-year experience working with children in a child welfare setting; experience working with compliance, best practices and minimum standard preferred.
Sanctuary Model experience preferred;
License and Credentials
Reliable transportation
Valid driver license
Valid vehicle insurance
Must provide immunization/shot records;
Background Checks

Submit to a state and federal background check
Submit to child abuse and neglect registry check
Submit to Tuberculosis screening;
Be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities
Able to show proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route if working directly with unaccompanied children;
Varicella: two doses of varicella vaccine (at least 4 weeks apart) OR born in the United States before 1980 with a reported history of chickenpox (verified by an adult present at the time of illness) OR titers indicating varicella immunity OR documentation from healthcare provider verifying previous infection.
MMR: two doses of MMR vaccine (at least 4 weeks apart) OR titers indicating immunity to all three diseases
DTaP or DTap: Complete primary vaccination series. If primary vaccination series completed in childhood, one DTaP dose in adulthood.
Influenza: one dose annually during flu season.

Travel requirements for the position includes 10% local and 10% overnight.
