Job Title: Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Services Coordinator

Salary: $28.07 - $35.50 per hour
Klamath County is recruiting for a Spanish speaking Services Coordinator to join the Developmental Disabilities Services Team. This position provides targeted case management services to individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). This role involves identifying individual needs and developing plans to access services and resources. The Ideal Candidate
Our Bilingual Services Coordinator is fluent in Spanish and has knowledge of the public service system for developmental disabilities services in Oregon. You should have a bachelors degree in behavioral science, social science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in human services. You are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks. You excel in communication and are able to effectively work with individuals with I/DD, their families, and various stakeholders. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Qualifications
Education (must have one of the following):
A bachelors degree in behavioral science, social science, or a closely related field; or
A bachelor's degree in any field and one year of human services related experience, such as work providing assistance to people and groups with issues, such as economical disadvantages, employment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging, disabilities, prevention, health, cultural competencies, or housing; or
An associate's degree in a behavioral science, social science, or a closely related field and two years of human services related experience, such as work providing assistance to people and groups with issues, such as economical disadvantages, employment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging, disabilities, prevention, health, cultural competencies, or housing
Certifications: Valid Oregon Driver's License.
Skills and Abilities:
Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
Knowledge of the public service system for Developmental Disability Services in Oregon.
Familiarity with Klamath County community agencies and resources.
Understanding of mandatory reporting requirements and confidentiality rules.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, record-keeping programs, and other relevant software.
Ability to manage complex projects, collaborate effectively in a team environment, and maintain professional boundaries.
Strong communication skills in English and Spanish, with effective presentation and public speaking abilities.
Capacity to handle highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
