Title: Bilingual Social Worker
Location: Queens, NY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract - Mon-Fri 08:00am-03:00pm
Compensation:
Pay Range: $45.00-$50.00 Per HR
Description:
• This position involves working as a Bilingual Social Worker in a preschool special education setting located in Queens, NY.
• The role is contract-based with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 08:00 am to 03:00 pm.
• Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and English and hold a valid LMSW license.
• The position requires a compassionate approach to supporting young children with developmental disabilities and their families.
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Active New York State LMSW license.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Experience with preschool-aged children, special education programs, and families of children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills and a family-centered approach.
• Familiarity with IEPs and community-based family resources.
• Experience in family counseling or play-based therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications:
• New York State Bilingual Spanish Extension preferred.
• At least 1 year of social work experience in preschool special education or related fields preferred.
• Experience with early childhood intervention or developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Recent graduates with relevant hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
