Our client, a public charter school, is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Front Desk Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis with potential to extend or go permanent in Washington, DC.
About The Job:
- Serve as the primary front desk point of contact for visitors, families, and incoming calls
- Manage visitor access, sign‑in/sign‑out, and front office procedures
- Respond to phone, email, and in‑person inquiries and route as appropriate
- Provide basic administrative support to school operations and leadership
- Support student attendance, enrollment documentation, and daily family needs
- Assist with aftercare support, daily resets, and general school operations
About You:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish
- Experience working in a school is required!
- Proficiency using Google Workspace
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
- $20-$22/hr
- Permanent Salary: $40k-$62k, depending on experience
- Metro Accessible
- Comfortable with occasional lifting (up to 40lbs)
