    • Full-Time, 1.0 FTE

    • In Person

    • Starting August 2026 for the entire school year

    About the Role

    Hello Bilingual SPED Resource Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Bilingual Special Education Resource Teacher to support elementary students in Boulder, CO. In this role, you'll provide specialized instruction, develop and manage IEPs, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and help create an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

    What You'll Do

    • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

    • Provide specialized instruction in academics, behavior, social-emotional learning, and executive functioning

    • Deliver research-based interventions based on individual student needs

    • Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation and progress reports

    • Coordinate annual, initial, and reevaluation IEP meetings

    • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families

    • Collect and analyze assessment data to guide instruction and eligibility decisions

    • Foster a safe, equitable, and supportive learning environment
       

    What We're Looking For

    • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education Generalist license or application in process

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field

    • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

    • Minimum 1 year of classroom experience

    • Flexible team player

    • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams & students

    • Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
