100% FTE Bilingual Speech and Language Pathologist opening starting in the 2026/27 school year.
Join our team of nine Speech/Language pathologists! This position will work with our bilingual program at Heritage Elementary School, as well as some of our bilingual students across the district. The ideal candidate would be bilingual in Spanish. Waunakee Community School District offers support and mentoring from a large team of therapists who work collaboratively to serve the needs of all students. Our therapists provide direct services to students, as well as consultative services, and they also coordinate initial evaluations and reevaluations.
Speech/Language caseloads in the District range from 30-40. The District also utilizes a 3:1 service model, meaning that therapists provide direct services for 3 weeks per month and then one week per month is focused on indirect services, including testing for evaluations, observations of students in the classroom and providing any needed make-up minutes.
The Waunakee Community School District is a suburb of Madison, Wisconsin and serves over 4,000 students in grades 4K - 12.
